In a move that has shocked and thrilled fans worldwide, Panic! At The Disco has officially announced their return to the music scene with a brand new album and a highly anticipated 2025 world tour. Just over two years after disbanding, frontman Brendon Urie revealed the news via an emotional video post on the band’s official social media channels early Monday morning.
The unexpected comeback is titled “Phoenix Rising,” symbolizing the band’s rebirth from the ashes of their 2023 farewell. The new album is set to be released on March 14, 2025, and will feature 12 tracks, including collaborations with artists like Hayley Williams, Troye Sivan, and Twenty One Pilots.
The tour, also named “Phoenix Rising World Tour,” will kick off on April 25, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada, the city where the band was originally formed. From there, the band will travel across North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and South America, with over 70 dates already confirmed.
Urie, 37, shared his excitement about returning to the stage and studio:
“I took time off to focus on my family and personal life, and it’s been a beautiful journey. But music is in my blood, and the inspiration just kept flowing. ‘Phoenix Rising’ is my love letter to every fan who’s ever screamed our lyrics, cried at our shows, or found themselves in our music.”
The lead single, “Reignite,” dropped alongside the announcement and has already sparked waves of excitement online. The track blends the theatrical energy of A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out with the modern polish of Pray for the Wicked, offering a perfect bridge between the old and the new.
