Gabriel Agbonlahor, a TalkSPORT pundit, has weighed in on Mohamed Salah’s performances for Liverpool so far this season.
Jurgen Klopp’s team has had a fantastic start to the season. Aside from that contentious loss to Tottenham, they are unbeaten in the Premier League, and many consider them title contenders. Salah’s numbers have been fantastic once again.
Mohamed Salah of Liverpool is in ‘frightening form,’ according to Gabriel Agbonlahor.
Liverpool signed Mohamed Salah from AS Roma in the summer of 2017 for £34.3 million (Sky Sports), and it has proven to be one of their best decisions ever.
When the Egyptian completed his move to Anfield, many people were surprised. His failed spell at Chelsea was seen as a real cause for concern, but he has silenced all and some of his detractors.
Salah has also been very productive this season. He has already scored 10 goals and provided four assists in all competitions, which is an outstanding return.
Gabriel Agbonlahor weighed in on Salah while predicting Liverpool’s game against Luton Town this weekend.
The pundit doesn’t think the Egyptian has been at his best, but he has admitted that his goalscoring form is just ‘frightening’.
On talkSPORT, Agbonlahor said of the game, “I think another tough game for Luton.” They’re demonstrating their fighting spirit. They may not have the best team or quality, but they do have fight.
“However, Liverpool, with their quality players, will punish you.” Salah is in terrifying form. He isn’t even playing his best football right now, but he is scoring goals. He can score goals.
“I’ve got to for a 3-0 win for Liverpool.”
Mo Salah is Liverpool’s best player
A number of Liverpool’s players have stepped up this season.
Alisson looks as good as ever, and Virgil van Dijk appears to be back to his best. Darwin Nunez is looking absolutely stunning, and the new signings have been performing brilliantly.
However, Mo Salah remains Liverpool’s main man. The Egyptian is simply incredible. He’s still dangerous, and even when he’s not playing at his best, he manages to make an impact.
We expect Salah to score again this weekend against Luton Town.
