On Monday, June 12, Manchester City will parade an open-top bus in honor of capturing the Triple Crown.
When Pep Guardiola’s team defeated Inter Milan in Istanbul on Saturday night, they achieved their historic feat. With just over 20 minutes left, Rodri curled in the decisive goal to give City their first Champions League championship.
City not only won the European award but also the Premier League and FA Cup. The council has stated a parade will be held on Monday to honor such an amazing accomplishment.
Supporters can enter the parade stage show in St. Peter’s Square through two entrances starting at 5 o’clock. One will be off Princess Street via Portland Street, while the other will be along Oxford Street near the McDonald’s.
The parade show will start at Beetham Tower on Deansgate at 5:30 p.m., one hour before the procession. The open-top City buses will travel along Deansgate until they reach Marks & Spencer, at which point they will turn right onto Cross Street.
The parade will then wind its way along King Street, Brown Street, and Booth Street before ending at Nicholas Street. Prior to the event’s scheduled 8:30 p.m. conclusion, the players are anticipated to take the stage at 7:30 p.m.
