When Liverpool visits fellow unbeaten Premier League team Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday night, they will look to extend their winning streak overall to eight games.

The Reds trail only Manchester City in the English top division after trailing in three of their last four games, all of which finished in 3-1 victory.

After last weekend’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal in the north London derby, they are two points behind a Spurs team they haven’t lost to since 2017.

Here is the team that manager Jurgen Klopp could use to extend the winning streak.

GK: Alisson – Despite having only one clean sheet so far this season, he is still undoubtedly the finest goalkeeper in the Premier League.

RB: Joe Gomez – Trent Alexander-Arnold hasn’t played since the 3-0 victory over Aston Villa earlier this month and is still questionable due to an injury. In the matchup with Leicester, Curtis Jones started at right-back, but Gomez should go in as Alexander-Arnold is on league duty.

CB: Joel Matip – The center-back, who joined Liverpool in 2016, recently reaffirmed his intention to remain at Anfield as his contract is set to expire the next year.

CB: Virgil van Dijk -Anointed as “one of the best defenders in the Premier League” by Micky van de Ven, a fellow countryman and opponent of Spurs.
