Back into the heart of midfield

Despite concerns from his manager about a back injury that caused him to be replaced in the North London derby, Declan Rice starts today.

He will be looking to boss The Cherries’ midfield from the off.

It will be interesting to see how Rice performs with the physical side of the game if he is still nursing a slight injury.

    Cherries needing change of luck

Bournemouth, still searching for their first win of the season, will need to be more clinical in front of goal.

There is no doubting that this side creates chances, but taking them seems to be an issue.

Iraola’s side will need to be firing on cylinders in front of goal to cause Mikel Arteta’s side problems today.

    Taking the Mikel in preparations

All week the Arsenal manager has been talking about all the injuries the club have and how they are struggling to deal with it.

Arteta, having seen today’s team, comes across as the boy who cried wolf with only one change.

More importantly, all of the players who he told the press were injured play today.

Arteta shows new boy favoured keeper

As much speculation goes on about the competition for the goalkeeping spot at Arsenal, Raya gets the nod for today’s game.

It seems that David Raya is the manager’s favoured number one.

Having been questionably at fault for the first Tottenham goal last weekend, the Spaniard continues in between the sticks today.
