Update news: Klopp recalls ‘unbelievable’ £44 million man Liverpool’s predicted starting XI vs Toulouse includes a 17-year-old.

So far, the Reds have been flawless, winning three out of three games and putting themselves in a strong position. With another Premier League game on Sunday, here is the lineup we believe Jurgen Klopp will field in France.

Caoimhin Kelleher, the defence, stated this week that he is feeling better this season after playing a number of games in this competition. The Irishman will re-start tomorrow.

Right-back is a more difficult position for Klopp to fill, but with few other options, we believe he’ll switch Joe Gomez from left to right.

Joel Matip was the only Liverpool senior center-back who did not play against Luton Town on Sunday. As a result, he’ll almost certainly play here, with Jarell Quansah given the opportunity to build on his excellent performance against Bournemouth last week.

Although we think he’ll be slated for a starting return on Sunday too, we think Kostas Tsimikas will make up the back five.

Midfield

With the games coming thick and fast, it appears that Klopp’s options are beginning to be limited.

In this regard, Alexis MacAllister’s suspension for the weekend game helps somewhat. The Argentine is expected to make his first Europa League appearance.

But we don’t think he’ll be playing the holding role. Wataru Endo, on the other hand, appears likely to return to the starting lineup in preparation for a possible start against Brentford.

We believe Harvey Elliott will complete the midfield if Curtis Jones is unable to shake off the knock that kept him out against Luton.

Attack

Liverpool, like the rest of the team, must rotate their forwards in order to get the most out of them.

Thankfully, young Ben Doak’s return to fitness should help alleviate some of the pressure. The 17-year-old has been described as ‘unbelievable’ and will be eager to reestablish himself after a brief injury.

Cody Gakpo, who came off the bench on Sunday, would be expected to join young Doak in attack.

Meanwhile, Klopp may be tempted to give Luis Diaz more playing time. However, we believe Diogo Jota will remain on the left side.

Liverpool’s predicted starting lineup vs. Toulouse is as follows: Kelleher; Gomez, Matip, Quansah, Tsimikas; Endo, Elliott, Mac Allister; Doak, Gakpo, Jota.
