Things Getting Worst: Arsenal ‘getting fed up’ with €75m star; The midfielder’s departure ‘close’ as Arteta Willing…

Kai Havertz, a German international, has reportedly caused Arsenal to ‘get fed up’ early as a result of his poor season debut.

During the summer transfer window, the Gunners paid approximately €75 million (£65 million) to acquire Havertz from Premier League opponent Chelsea.

Even though Havertz scored the game-winning goal in the 2021 Champions League final against Manchester City during his tenure at Chelsea, he eventually fell short of expectations at Stamford Bridge.

Arsenal’s decision to sign Havertz was one of the major shocks during the recent summer window.

He has been tipped by some to kickstart his career at the Emirates but he has struggled during the early weeks of this season.

Havertz started Arsenal’s first four Premier League games of the 2023/24 campaign but he dropped out of Mikel Arteta’s first XI for recent fixtures against Everton and Tottenham Hotspur.

In the group rounds of the Champions League, his finest performance for Arsenal to date came against PSV Eindhoven. After the game, Arteta claimed he felt “really connected” to the game.

“Yeah, he was really connected today in the game,” Arteta remarked.

“It’s true, I wanted him to take on two separate personas in terms of the opponents’ actions, and he’s so smart that he manages to achieve it. Just completing one or two of our previous activities will do it, and he is eager to do it.

Despite this, the Spanish publication Fichajes claims that Arsenal is “starting to get tired of Havertz.”

This opening line is pretty dramatic (and premature) but it is later suggested that his recent performances are a ’cause for concern’.

A separate report from Fichajes claims midfielder Jorginho is ‘getting closer and closer’ to leaving the Premier League club.

The Gunners spent around £12m to sign Jorginho from Chelsea during this year’s January transfer window after they failed to acquire Moises Caicedo.

Fenerbahce of Turkey has apparently decided to ‘act early’ in their pursuit of Jorginho.

His exclusion from Arteta’s plans “opened the exit door,” and a transfer in January is thought to be a “concrete possibility.”

According to sources familiar with the negotiations, the operation is not anticipated to be expensive, the story continues.

Fenerbahce intend to proceed with negotiations gradually, and all signs point to the player having given his consent for the transfer.

With Arsenal not considering Jorginho in their short-term plans, the Italian’s departure is seen as a fluid and efficient transaction that could be completed in the next winter market.’
