Tension Arises: Jack Grealish’s verdict Manchester City future and his five word reply back to the Cityzens as he plans to…

An important update has been provided on the Manchester City future of Jack Grealish amid ongoing reports concerning a potential exit for the England international.

The 28-year-old has been handed a rare opportunity to have the entirety of the ongoing summer free from football duties, having been left out of Gareth Southgate’s England selection for the European Championships in Germany.

The former Aston Villa captain struggled for the most part of last season through fitness and injury concerns, whilst failing to put together a run of form in Pep Guardiola’s starting line-up to displace Jeremy Doku consistently.

However, the understanding in various quarters is that the Catalan coach has reassured Jack Grealish personally of his place in Manchester City’s plans for the forthcoming season, and perhaps beyond should Guardiola extend his own contractual agreement.

But that has not stopped some sections of the media from speculating about a potential transfer away from the Etihad Stadium for Grealish, with one highly-rated source for transfer information stepping in to offer clarity on the situation.

Speaking in a new column for CaughtOffside, transfer market insider Fabrizio Romano issued an important update concerning Jack Grealish, closing down the idea of potential movement around the England international on a transfer front.

“There have been some new rumours about Jack Grealish and his future at Manchester City possibly being in doubt. Still, I can honestly say I don’t have any concrete info on Grealish now,” Romano clarified.

He continued, “I’m not hearing anything new, decisions, bid or anything… It’s all quiet around him at Man City now. We will see.”

Grealish returned to Manchester City earlier this month in an attempt to get ahead on fitness and preparations for the pre-season period, with Pep Guardiola and his players jetting to the United States for a four-game tour of the east coast of the country.

City’s pre-season fixture schedule kicks off with a meeting against Scottish Premier League champions Celtic, before matches against FC Barcelona, AC Milan, and Chelsea follow before their FA Community Shield clash against Manchester United at Wembley Stadium.

One player who is not expected to be present on the tour, despite previous expectations of a showcase upon joining the club, is new signing Savio. The Brazil international is set to train with the club for the first time when they return to England in early August.

Jack Grealish now calls £30m player who wants to leave Arsenal ‘one of the best’

Jack Grealish has now been in touch with an Arsenal player – sending some very kind words his way.

The Manchester City No.10 was left out of the England squad by Gareth Southgate for UEFA Euro 2024 – despite winning 36 caps in total – although he is still staying involved with the group on Instagram.

So, what did Jack Grealish write? Let’s take a look…

Jack Grealish sends message to Aaron Ramsdale

The England international has now sent a nice message to Arsenal No.1 Aaron Ramsdale on Instagram.

After the £30m glovesman posted a photo celebrating England’s win over Switzerland with the caption “live for these moments” – along with a heart emoji – Grealish responded with some firm praise.

The £100m man wrote “what a guy, one of the best you son” – in what we believe was a statement to recognise Ramsdale’s superb professionalism in his role as No.2 behind Jordan Pickford.

Having lost his place to David Raya last season – a development which TBR Football believe has led Ramsdale to want out of Arsenal – it would have been easy for him to become downbeat about spending all summer playing deputy to another No.1 in Pickford.

However, Ramsdale seems more than happy to support the Everton No.1 and celebrate his accomplishments for England, as proven by his reaction to Saturday’s win over Switzerland.

Arsenal also want England international to leave

As aforesaid, Ramsdale is keen to depart the Emirates Stadium and become No.1 elsewhere.

Arsenal are also happy for that to happen – as per our aforementioned exclusive – with Edu already on the hunt for a new backup goalkeeper to support Raya.

One potential option to fill that role is Wolves No.23 Daniel Bentley – who The Sun believe Arsenal are preparing a bid to sign.

There is also believed to be interest in Feyenoord No.1 Justin Bijlow after he helped Arne Slot’s old side finish second in the Eredivisie last season.
