John Eustace, the manager of Blackburn, has become a “leading candidate” to succeed Paul Warne at Derby County.
Before today’s match against Norwich City at Carrow Road, the Rams leadership decided to fire Warne on Friday after a run of seven straight losses put them in the relegation zone.
Eustace is a top target for the Championship underdogs, and Derby will now be hoping for a quick appointment, according to Telegraph correspondent John Percy.
