Liverpool travels to Manchester City on Sunday, and as usual, this matchup will generate considerable discussion.
As expected, there are numerous parallels to be drawn between these two teams, which are currently the top two teams in the nation.
During an episode of the No Tippy Tappy Football Podcast, Sam Allardyce and Billy Sharp discussed their collaborative XI efforts for both teams, which included several noteworthy choices.
Both individuals concurred that City would have a greater number of players in this combined squad, but Allardyce predicted that three Liverpool players would be included.
The former Leeds manager even predicted that Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah would be included in the squad, and that Andy Robertson would also play left back for City.
