Juventus are reportedly bracing themselves for offers next year for Federico Chiesa, with Liverpool rumoured to be interested in the winger.
The Italian international’s future has become a major talking point this season, with the winger’s contract with Juventus due to be extended by an extra year after an impressive campaign with the Bianconeri.
Four goals and two assists off the back of a season where Chiesa returned from a long-term ACL injury is a decent return for the attacker, and as a result, Liverpool are now reportedly interested in the forward.
And now, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are bracing for offers for Chiesa next summer, with the report stating that Premier League clubs remain interested in the 26-year-old forward.
Indeed, with Liverpool expected to lose Mohamed Salah to Saudi Arabia, Chiesa could be an exceptional signing, with 90min lauding the Juventus star as ‘world-class’.
And after this latest update, there’s a good chance that Liverpool could now land Chiesa, especially with Juventus fearing that the forward could be on the move in 2024.
Liverpool need to intensify their interest for Federico Chiesa
Chiesa has been on Liverpool’s radar for what feels like forever, and this update strongly indicates that the Reds could potentially move back in for the attacker.
The Anfield side need a suitable replacement for Salah in 2024 when the forward moves on to Saudi Arabia, and Chiesa could be the man for the job.
As we know, the winger is a dynamic attacker who knows how to score as well as create, and Jurgen Klopp could get the best out of Chiesa at Liverpool.
And with Juventus now expecting offers, there’s not much stopping Liverpool from launching their own move to sign the attacker, who could be an exceptional addition to Klopp’s arsenal.
