RENEALED:CRYSTAL PALACE GREENLIGHTS LIVERPOOL AS £140M BID TOLD TO PAY FOR “POWERFUL” DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDER, DEAL STILL ON CARDS

Crystal Palace will not sell Liverpool and Man City targets Eberechi Eze and Cheick Doucoure for less than £70million each, sources have told

Football Insider.

The London club want £140m combined for their two prize assets amid interest from the elite clubs in the final week of the window.

Palace have let it be known their asking prices for attacking midfielder Eze and defensive midfielder Doucoure as they are braced for late offers.

City have registered an interest in Eze after withdrawing their interest in West Ham’s Lucas Paqueta, while Liverpool have enquired about Doucoure,

as first revealed by Football Insider on 17 July.

Eze has two years left on his contract and is settled at Palace but keen to progress in his career.

His previous club, QPR, would get a 20 per cent cut of the fee if he did leave Selhurst Park, after insisting on a sell-on clause when they sold him to

Palace in 2020.

Doucoure has four more years remaining on the deal signed when he joined from Lens last summer.

The 23-year-old made 35 appearances for Palace last term, notching up three assists in those outings.
