Rangers’ routine victory against St Johnstone is complicated by breaking news on Sky Sports, as supporters message Philippe Clement…

Rangers’ Ultras squad put on a show at Ibrox, defeating St Johnstone handily in the first half.

Philippe Clement dominated the pre-game pre-amble as Rangers dominated the first half of the Scottish Premiership encounter at Ibrox.

Although fans will applaud the 3-1 victory, a shaky second half performance serves as a clear reminder of some of the problems at Ibrox.

In protest at the club’s management at all levels over the past few seasons, the Union Bears left Ibrox in the 55th minute, sending a reminder of their own.

After excellent work from Vaclav Cerny and Mohamed Diomande, Rangers took the lead in the match thanks to form striker Hamza Igamane.

Both players would go on to score, with Cerny adding a second four minutes later following a through pass from Danilo. Rangers then extended their lead to three when Mohamed Diomande was the first to react and head home a header from inside the box following a shaky defensive clearance by Jake Sanders.
