OFFICIAL LEEDS UNITED READY TO FINANLISE £10MILLION TRANSFER IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS- Report

Leeds United are ready to complete the signing of Swansea City striker Joel Piroe in the next 24 hours, according to Phil Hay.

The Athletic journalist has reported on Thursday 24 August that the Whites are ready to pay in excess of £10million, and are willing to meet his

personal demands too.

Leeds are said to want the deal done and wrapped up ahead of the trip to Portman Road to take on Ipswich on Saturday 26 August this weekend.

The fee has been agreed with Swansea, and are ready to land the “major target” after productive negotiations in recent days between the two

Championship sides.

Piroe still needs to complete a medical, although Leeds are wary of any late hijacks after what happened in their push to sign Max Aarons earlier in

the window.

There are no doubts that this would be one of the best transfers by any Championship side this summer, with Leeds taking the best striker in the

entire division for relatively cheap.

Only last year, there were talks of Piroe costing double the price that the Whites look to be paying, so even with only one year left on his deal, this is a

snip.

If the Dutch talisman can get off the mark quickly, he could easily fire home 20-plus goals this season and with the attacking options around him,

that should be easy.

Luis Sinisterra, Crysencio Summerville, Willy Gnonto and Dan James are just four of the names who could be producing the goods around him, and

that is mouthwatering.

Leeds want to get this done as quickly as possible it seems, and that is smart, with this clearly our top target who could even be available to the squad

at Ipswich.

Fingers crossed, this one looks very close.
