NEWS JUST IN: Spurs have made a bid of more than £43 million for an Italian footballer, hoping to come to an agreement “as soon as possible.”

Tottenham Hotspur are keen on the Juventus defender Gleison Bremer and they are looking to move for him at the end of the season.

A report from Fichajes claims that the Premier League club ‘would be willing’ to offer more than £43 million for the 26-year-old defender, and they want to wrap up his signing ‘as soon as possible’.

The Brazilian has established himself as a key player for Juventus in the Italian league and he could prove to be a superb acquisition for Tottenham as well.

The Premier League side have improved their defence with the signing of Radu Dragusin from Genoa during the January transfer window. It seems that they are looking to add more depth and quality to the back four. Bremer is capable of operating as a central defender as well as a left-back. He will help them tighten up defensively and his versatility could make him a useful option during injuries and rotation.

A move to the Premier League will certainly be an exciting opportunity for the Brazilian defender and he will look to test himself at the highest level. Tottenham are having an impressive season and they could secure Champions League qualification for the next season. Bremer could be attracted to the idea of playing for Spurs next year if they manage to finish in the top four.

It will be interesting to see if Juventus are willing to sell a key player like him for the reported £43 million Spurs are hoping to offer.

Club insider reveals exciting Tottenham plans for the summer transfer window

Tottenham Hotspur are gearing up for the summer following a successful winter transfer window.

Spurs finalised three signings in January, securing the services of Timo Werner on loan, the long-anticipated defender Radu Dragusin, and the promising Swedish prospect Lucas Bergvall just before the deadline.

Reliable Spurs insider Paul O Keefe has now revealed what the Lilywhites have planned for the upcoming window.

According to O’Keefe, Tottenham aims to reinforce their squad with another centre-back, a midfielder, and an attacker.

While discussing on Last Word on Spurs (via Spurs_Connect), he claimed that Spurs are very relaxed and know who they want to keep and who they want to sell.

The club have already begun scouting potential targets, with Barcelona winger Raphinha being among those under consideration.

It’s also suggested that Ange Postecoglou requires a backup for the left-back position, specially with the Italian Destiny Udogie consistently featuring and completing full 90 minutes in his last 10 league games.

While fans hope for the Lilywhites to secure a midfielder in the summer, their preference is Chelsea star midfielder Conor Gallagher, who has less than 18 months remaining on his contract.

Spurs have expressed interest in the England international on paper, but they did not make any concrete efforts to sign Gallagher last month, despite the longstanding rumours surrounding the potential move.

TBH Says:

The club appears to be making positive strides both on and off the pitch.

The club’s project under Ange has successfully attracted some of the brightest prospects in the market, with North Londoners being preferred over Bayern Munich and Barcelona for the signatures of Radu Dragusin and Lucas Bergvall, respectively.
