Well-placed sources revealed to Football Insider that Spurs will now revive their interest in the 23-year-old after failing to sign Man City ace Kalvin Phillips this month and struggling to bring in the midfielder Ange Postecoglou wants.

Sources had previously told Football Insider (19 January) that a move for Gallagher had collapsed, but Tottenham are now expected to make another move after Phillips’ loan to West Ham was confirmed on Friday (26 January).

Sources told Football Insider (23 January) that the club are hopeful of bringing in two more signings in January, including Club Brugge wonderkid Antonio Nusa.
