In an interview with TyC Sports, the legend praised the Uruguayan team for being excellent at counter-attacking.
He also mentioned Darwin Nunez, and he went on to say that it’s possible because of great players like him.
He stated:
“Uruguay is good at rebounding and playing in space on offense.” They have excellent players for that, such as Darwin [Nez]…”
Darwin Nunez has put up impressive numbers despite his frequent misses this season.
