While Liverpool is aiming to improve and get back on track for the upcoming season, the other Premier League teams, including treble champion Manchester City, are doing the same.
Now that Pep Guardiola’s team has won the title, Liverpool will not even be able to defend it the following year because they failed to qualify for the competition by failing to place in the top four of the Premier League.
Whatever the case, everyone will be striving to improve come next season. At the very least, Liverpool has to return to the Champions League, while Manchester United and Newcastle finished first but still have a lot of work to do.
