Another monotonous international break has reached its eleventh hour, which means we have Premier League fixtures to preview once more. Surprisingly, the best match-up of the weekend happens to be the first match of the weekend: Liverpool FC vs. Manchester City.

So basically City perfectly bookended the November internationals. They combined with Chelsea for a brilliant 4-4 draw that was the final and best game before the break. Now they’ll face the Reds in the first and most meaningful match after the break.
