Bayern Munich will try once more to persuade defender Lucas Hernandez to sign a contract extension.
According to Sport Bild journalists Tobi Altschäffl and Christian Falk, as photographed by @iMiaSanMia, the Bavarians are considering extending their three-year proposal to four years.
Despite the fact that Bayern does not in principle want to trade Lucas Hernández, the club values him at €50 million. Next week, just before he departs on vacation, more discussions with Hernández are planned. Bayern is prepared to uphold their original proposal and grant him a four-year contract.
However, according to Fabrizio Romano, Paris Saint-Germain may be prepared to step up its own efforts to pressure Hernandez to make a shift. However, one thing is certain: Bayern Munich will
not permit Hernandez to leave unmolested next summer:
As the situation appears to be fairly open right now with the management transition, FC Bayern anticipates PSG to ‘attack’ the Lucas Hernandez trade in the coming days. No desire to lose him for free the following year. Extension before the end of the summer, or else.
