Liverpool have to agree £50million signing of La Liga playmaker – PG view
Liverpool have no one in the squad who can effectively cover for Mohamed Salah on lLiverpool hlavethe right flank and they should use the January transfer window to lure a quality attacker.
The Reds have been linked with a number of pllaymakers and one of them is Brazilian international, Raphinha.

Back in November last year, Football Insider revealed the Merseysiders could swoop for the Samba star, who has been put up for sale by Barca and can be lured for around £50million.
In our view, Liverpool have to agree the £50million fee to secure the signing of Raphinha, who would be an ideal short/long term replacement of Salah.
The South American, who turned 27 last month, directly contributed in 14 goals in Barca’s La Liga winning campaign, however, this season, Xavi has mostly kept him on the bench.
His stats are still impressive as in 12 starts in all competitions thus far, the former Leeds United winger has scored 4 goals and provided 7 assists.
Raphinha proved his worth in the Premier League at Elland Road and consistently troubled defenders before leaving for Spain and he has the characteristics to strengthen Jurgen Klopp’s squad.
However, Klopp has been able to find players who fit the system and on the flanks, he has preferred direct and pacy stars, who can dribble past opponents, score/create goals and in our opinion, Raphinha ticks all the boxes.

Contact made – Liverpool told £52million would get play breaker signing done
According to Libero (via Passione Inter and The Express), Liverpool have contacted the midfielder’s agent to inquire about hiring his services.

Liverpool defender Alexander-Arnold to miss three weeks because of a knee injury
LIVERPOOL, England (AP) – Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold will be sidelined for three weeks because of a slightly torn knee ligament, the team said Tuesday.
The right-back hyperextended his knee during Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Arsenal in an FA Cup third-round game Sunday.
Tests showed a “little tear” to the lateral ligament, assistant manager Pep Lijnders said ahead of the team’s League Cup semifinal first leg against Fulham at Anfield on Wednesday.
“He will be out probably three weeks – big blow,” Lijnders said at a press conference. “He was one of our most important players.”
Liverpool leads the Premier League by three points and was already preparing for an extended stretch without top scorer Mohamed Salah, who is on international duty with Egypt at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Jurgen Klopp’s team is also missing left-backs Andy Robertson (shoulder) and Kostas Tsimikas (collarbone), as well as central defender Joel Matip (ACL).
