Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing PSV Eindhoven midfielder Ibrahim Sangare, with the 24-year-old also wanted by Bayern Munich and
PSG.
According to agent Kiki Musampa, the Ivory Coast international is on the Reds’ radar as a potential alternative to Moises Caicedo, with the Brighton
& Hove Albion star set to snub Liverpool for Chelsea.
Musampa said when asked which clubs are interested in Sangare: “Liverpool have him on their transfer list, so a transfer could happen.”
Hailed by Foot The Ball as a midfield ‘behemoth’, the 6’3″ talent is regarded by many as one of the most underrated players in all of Europe, with
Sangare due a move to a big club for some years.
And that time could now be this summer, with Liverpool a dream destination for Sangare given their need for a defensive midfielder and some
serious physicality in the centre of the pitch.
With Sangare also an outstanding technician and passer of the ball, the PSV star ticks essentially every box Liverpool are looking for in a midfield
signing this summer.
Sangare should have been targeted by Liverpool from the start
Sangare is a player who has been lauded by pundits, professionals and analysts for years, and this summer looks to finally be the one where the PSV
midfielder makes a move to one of Europe’s elite.
A complete midfielder with room to improve, Sangare is almost too perfect a player for Liverpool to sign this summer, with the 24-year-old exactly
what Jurgen Klopp needs.
With interest now building, Liverpool have to ensure they’re at the front of the queue to sign Sangare, who could be the perfect signing to take on the
