This season’s logo swap will take place on December 10 when LFC Women face Bristol City at Prenton Park, and a week later on December 17 when Jürgen Klopp’s men face Manchester United at Anfield.
Both teams will sign the limited-edition shirts after each match and Standard Chartered will auction them off at CharityStars.com/SCFM from December 11 to 23.
Dubbed the ‘Futuremakers x Liverpool FC’ collection, the match-worn shirts will be presented as full-sized framed football cards, allowing fans to bid on a unique collector’s item and potentially own a piece of LFC history.
The collection, though, does more than just allow fans to collect the items – it also gives them the opportunity to help change the lives of many around the world.
All proceeds from the auction will go to recipients of ‘Futuremakers by Standard Chartered’ – the bank’s global initiative to fight economic inequality.
The programme empowers underserved young people around the world to shape their futures by learning new skills, to improve their chances of getting a job or starting their own businesses.
The ‘Futuremakers x Liverpool FC’ collection auction will run from December 11 to 23, with the women’s shirts being released on December 11, followed by the men’s on December 18, and can be found at CharityStars.com/SCFM.
