Leon Goretzka and Benjamin Pavard should remain at Bayern Munich this summer, according to Herbert Hainer.

Although Hainer believes they are only speculations, both Pavard and Goretzka have been connected with departures from Bayern.

There is still a lot of time left in the summer transfer window, but Bayern Munich has already acquired Konrad Laimer from RB Leipzig and is almost certain to complete the acquisition of Raphael Guerreiro from Borussia Dortmund.

The club is still looking for a top striker and a defensive midfielder, as previously noted by Thomas Tuchel, but they may also be looking for a left-footed center back if Lucas Hernandez is convinced to leave Bayern and go with Paris Saint-Germain.

In addition to Hernandez, there have been rumors this summer that both Leon Goretzka and Benjamin Pavard are considering leaving Bayern, necessitating the search for even more replacements if they both did. Goretzka and Pavard together,Although Manchester United and Liverpool have both shown a strong desire to try to acquire the midfielder or defender, respectively, nothing official has yet happened.

Theoretically, it would be a good time for Bayern to try to sell the defender since Pavard’s contract expires next summer. However, Goretzka’s deal with Bayern runs until June 2026 due to a five-year extension he signed in the fall of 2021 with Joshua Kimmich.
