As reported by Foot Mercato in July, ESTAC Troyes and Burnley had agreed on a fee for the transfer of France youth international Wilson Odobert (18). The
publication are now reporting that a full agreement has been reached and the forward is set to undergo his medical in the coming days.
Troyes, part of the City Group, struggled last season and were relegated to Ligue 2. However, despite the club’s struggles, Odobert thrived, scoring seven goals and
registering two assists in all competitions. The Ligue 2 campaign got underway over the weekend, but Odobert didn’t feature as Troyes drew against Dunkerque.
It is unlikely that he will feature for the club again as Foot Mercato have revealed that there is now a full agreement in place for Odobert’s transfer to Burnley. The
France youth international will now undergo a medical ahead of his move to Vincent Kompany’s side. It has previously been reported that the deal is worth €11m.
