The England Under-21 captain, who excelled for Burnley last season when they were on loan, is presently competing in the
European Championships in Romania for a team that has advanced to the semifinals without giving up a goal.
Vincent Kompany wants to keep him at Turf Moor permanently, but a report from the third of July claims that Everton is
one of a select few clubs prepared to push them for his services.
Burnley are fighting to keep Taylor Harwood-Bellis from Manchester City at the club next season, although they have
competition from a number of Premier League rivals, according to TEAMtalk.
There will be plenty of offers if City decides to sell or even loan Harwood-Bellis, but they haven’t decided yet.
“Premier League rivals Brighton, Wolves, Everton, and Fulham are also interested in Burnley.”
Everton’s center defense has been strong recently, but Sean Dyche is definitely seeking to overhaul the team, so that position
might be bolstered.
Conor Coady was let to depart when his loan period ended, while Yerry Mina was let go when his contract expired. The
futures of Michael Keane and Jarrad Branthwaite are also up in the air, and Ben Godfrey and Mason Holgate have also been
advised they are free to leave if offers come in.
James Tarkowski is the sole option that is guaranteed for the 2023–2024 season, therefore Dyche will be eager to improve
his roster if the opportunity arises.
Given his time at Burnley the previous season, it’s unclear how pricey a deal for Harwood-Bellis will be. However, Everton
will believe that they are bigger and can provide a superior platform.

Report: Premier League club in ‘advanced’ talks to sign Leeds target for £19m, Cresswell loves him
So it is obvious that we are discussing a goalkeeper with tremendous potential. According to The Mail, Trafford is being
considered by Leicester, Burnley, and Leeds. Charlie Cresswell recently praised Trafford, saying, “He is a great keeper, and a
great guy.”
However, according to a report on Sky Sports News, Burnley is nearing an agreement to buy Trafford for a hefty sum that
includes a £12 million upfront payment as well as potential add-on payments of another £7 million. Leeds and Leicester just
cannot afford such a sum.
Leeds among clubs looking at Trafford, Burnley closing in on £19m deal
Trafford is a top, top goalkeeper. His exploits at the Under-21 European Championships has seen his value sky rocket over
the past few weeks. Even at only the initial fee of £12m, Leeds and Leicester would have struggled.
A move to Burnley, where he is likely to be first choice, and the chance to play under Vincent Kompany – is a brilliant move
for Trafford. While it is a good sign Leeds are looking in the right places, £19m is way too expensive right now.

Report: Kompany moves to sign £15m Leeds and Everton target, Orta tried to get him in 2020
Kompany makes first move to sign Adams ahead of Leeds and Everton
Adams is underrated. Not one to look for a regular source of goals, but more than capable of scoring one every three or four
games – but also, able to create. Versatile, physical, and willing to run the channels. He is a top player.
If Leeds could get Adams in the Championship, it would be a wonderful addition. But, unlikely. Adams has had a taste of
top-tier football and has shown that he is good enough at that level. Burnley would be a smart move for him.
But, if he struggles to start for Burnley under Kompany and is not given the assurances he will do so – then Leeds really need
to consider a move from Southampton. He would be the ideal striker signing to bolster our instant push.
