Tacko Fall wants to return to the NBA after spending time in China.

Fall, a fan favorite when playing for the Boston Celtics, is presently taking part in the NBA Summer

League in Las Vegas, where he is a member of the Milwaukee Bucks summer squad.

This comes after the 7-foot-6 big man spent a season playing for the Xinjiang Flying Tigers of the Chinese Basketball Association, averaging 13.8 points, 10.1 rebounds and 3.3 blocks over 33 games.

Heavy.com’s Steve Bulpett caught up with the 27-year-old Fall, who said he’s still working toward a
comeback to make his NBA dream come true.
Fall landed with the Celtics after the 2019 NBA Draft and struggled to crack the NBA lineup. He played
26 games in Boston across two seasons, spending much of his time with the team’s G-League affiliate up
in Maine.
When Fall did see the court, it was often in garbage time at the end of games — open with fans clamoring
for the team to put him on the court.
Things didn’t work out long-term for Fall in Boston, but he says he’s still grateful for his time there.
“I mean, Boston will always be my home, so I’m very grateful for that,” he said to Bulpett.
Bulpett noted that Fall is a long shot to make the roster in Milwaukee. However, a source told him that
there are “29 other teams here that are watching” players like Fall, meaning that there’s a chance
another squad could scoop him up.

Fall has played in three games for the Bucks so far in Summer League this year, averaging 6.0 points, 5.3

rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game.
