Burnley have increased their offer to £12million for Aston Villa midfielder Aaron Ramsey.
The Premier League newcomers are in negotiations with Unai Emery’s side over a move for the youngster, who spent last season on loan at Norwich City and
Middlesbrough.
Ramsey is the brother of Villa star Jacob but could depart his boyhood club this summer as Burnley work on bringing in new recruit this summer.
Vincent Kompany’s side have also asked about taking Manchester United left-back Alvaro Fernandez, 20, on loan for the coming season.
It remains to be seen as to whether they can get a deal done as they look to replace Ian Maatsen this summer.

However, with Ben Chilwell and Marc Cucurella remaining at the club his game time could be limited, although Mauricio Pochettino has deployed him further
forward in pre-season.
Burnley also remain in talks with Ajax over a £12.9million deal for Denmark international winger Mohamed Daramy, 21.
They are hopeful of concluding a deal for the forward in the coming days ahead of the new Premier League season.
Burnley kick off the campaign against Manchester City on Friday, knowing that they have a long season Ahead of them.
