According to Jonny Drury of The Express and Star, Dara O’Shea might be worth over £10 million as West Brom negotiates with Burnley to acquire the defender.
According to John Percy of The Telegraph, the Premier League team is “hopeful” of reaching an agreement on a transfer fee that would give the Baggies a “huge” financial boost.
Drury expressed his concerns over Albion’s desire to sell the 24-year-old Irishman on Twitter on June 21.
“Fans want numbers. unknown at this time. You’d like to think Albion could receive in the neighborhood of £10m in the current market, looking at past moves involving similar players,” he added.
Albion must sell, as we have previously stated, and that may work against them.
West Brom would accept £10,000,000 and leave.
The biggest problem for the Baggies is that Burnley will be aware of their need for capital and might attempt to make a lowball bid for the 24-year-old.
Anything less than £7 million would be a mistake for Albion if he values himself at £10 million. Where these money are going specifically is another worrying factor to take into account. Could Goughan Lai come out to steal more money from the club?
