Jurgen Klopp’s men make the trip to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday, where Trent Alexander-Arnold is expected to make his return for Liverpool, but Thiago remains unfit for selection.
The Reds vice-captain hasn’t played since suffering a hamstring injury in the 3-0 victory over Aston Villa at the start of the month, but Klopp expects Alexander-Arnold to be available for the Saturday evening fixture.
Meanwhile, Thaigo remains unavailable as expected, but another setback for the squad was announced with the absence of Stefan Bajcetic who suffered a setback before the international break.
Joe Gomez also looks set to a return, so we’ve included him in our team selector in the hope for at least minutes from the bench. With the return of both Gomez and Alexander-Arnold, Klopp faces quite the dilemma on who his strongest starting XI could be.
