Jon Anderson and The Band Geeks Postpone April-May 2025 Tour
Jon Anderson, legendary lead vocalist of the progressive rock band Yes, and his ensemble, The Band Geeks, have announced the postponement of their upcoming North American tour, initially scheduled for April and May 2025. The tour was set to feature performances of classic Yes epics, selections from Anderson’s solo work, and tracks from their debut album, True.
The decision to postpone comes as a result of unforeseen circumstances that would impact the band’s ability to deliver the high-quality performances their fans expect. Specific details regarding the reasons for the postponement have not been disclosed. Fans who purchased tickets for the original dates are advised to hold onto their tickets, as they will be honored for the rescheduled performances. Alternatively, refunds are available at the point of purchase.
In addition to the tour postponement, the release of Jon Anderson and The Band Geeks’ live CD/DVD, Live – Perpetual Change, initially slated for March 14, 2025, has also been delayed. The live recording, captured at the Arcada Theater in St. Charles, Illinois, during their August 2023 tour, showcases performances of classic Yes tracks such as “Yours Is No Disgrace,” “Close to the Edge,” and “Roundabout.”
Fans are encouraged to stay updated by visiting Jon Anderson’s official website and The Band Geeks’ social media channels for the latest information regarding rescheduled tour dates and the new release schedule for Live – Perpetual
