I’m proud of them: Eberechi Eze says Arsenal have a £30m player he absolutely adores

The Premier League is home to some of the best attacking midfield talent in the world.

Kevin De Bruyne, Bruno Fernandes, and James Maddison are all truly world-class players, and Arsenal’s Martin Odegaard is equally impressive.

Eberechi Eze is one of the young stars breaking through in this league right now, and the Crystal Palace star has been discussing some of his peers and who inspires him on the Sky Sports Premier League YouTube channel.

When asked about Bruno Fernandes and Odegaard, Eze stated that while he does not necessarily model his game after these two, he does enjoy watching them play.

Eze likes to watch Odegaard.
Eze discussed the £30 million man and Manchester United captain.

“These two (Fernandes and Odegaard), they don’t play the exact same role as you, but they’re kind of in that 10 space, are these players you’re looking at and modelling your game on?” Eze was questioned.

“I wouldn’t say I model my game after theirs, but I watch these players and they’re very creative.” “My style is different from theirs, but I enjoy watching them,” Eze said.

Different
Eze and Odegaard are both absolutely fantastic attacking midfielders, but they’re brilliant in different ways.

Eze is a ball carrier with flair, whereas Odegaard is a traditional playmaker who likes to pick locks with his passing and make things happen in unconventional ways.

It’s no surprise that Eze is a huge Odegaard fan. After all, he’s a world-class talent that any football fan can appreciate.

Eze is a rising star, and who knows what the future holds for him? Perhaps the next generation will refer to the Crystal Palace star in the same way that he refers to the Arsenal captain.
