“I wasn’t happy.” Diogo Jota was reportedly enraged with two Liverpool players today, according to a Sky Sports analyst.

Diogo Jota gave Liverpool a spectacular goal this afternoon as they easily defeated Brentford at Anfield.

Mo Salah gave the Reds the lead twice, and Jota added another goal, sending a fantastic strike into the top corner. This put the Reds ahead by two.

Jota, however, didn’t have a particularly good day. There were moments when Liverpool began to rush a few things because Brentford was troubling the home team.

Peter Smith, who was covering the game for Sky Sports, saw how enraged Jota was at Cody Gakpo and Kostas Tsimikas for attempting to put pressure on the goal.

It was intriguing to observe Jota’s responses to those two abrupt, speculative jabs from Tsimikas and Gakpo. When he was in a favorable position, he wasn’t impressed by the first one, and he wasn’t pleased to see the second crack either! He may have a point—Liverpool needs to build up their play a little more patiently, Smith said.

Jota seeks excellence from Liverpool.
The Portuguese forward produced when it needed and ultimately got his goal today, but he is undoubtedly a guy who demands perfection.

Jota can get really irritated when things aren’t going his way, as we’ve seen in the past, and this is really simply typical of his standards.

Jota has established himself as a premier forward player since joining Liverpool, scoring significant goals in many games throughout that time.

Most importantly, he knows the game, which is why Jurgen Klopp always chooses him.

Really, this is just one of those instances. Jota just expressed his anger when his fellow players failed to pick up on how the game was going.
