The high school football regular season continues for Florida’s commitments. With Hurricane Milton impacting the state, some games were postponed or canceled. Here’s a summary of how some of these verbal pledges performed during Week 8:

**2025 Commits:**

– **4-star WR Vernell Brown III** – Jones remains undefeated at 6-0, but their game was postponed to this coming Friday due to Hurricane Milton. So far, Brown has recorded 44 receptions for 563 yards and four touchdowns, totaling 620 all-purpose yards this season.

– **4-star Edge Jalen Wiggins** – Tallahassee (Fla.) Rickards holds a 4-3 record following a loss last week. His stats haven’t been updated since that game, and only two games are recorded on Maxpreps, showing Wiggins with 15 tackles (1 TFL) and 1 sack, along with a fumble recovery.

– **4-star CB Ben Hanks Jr.** – Miami (Fla.) Booker T. Washington is 3-3 after their game against Homestead was canceled due to Hurricane Milton. Maxpreps has recorded stats for four games, listing Hanks with 15 tackles and two interceptions.
