Former Wolves star Ruben Neves has admitted money was a big factor in his move to Saudi Arabia amid links with a loan move to Newcastle United in January.

not true. When they present us the project, it’s a very, very big project. I think people have no idea how the country is improving, how the football is improving and how the football can be in a few years. In one year, we did this. So I believe in two or three more years, it will be an amazing league.”
Neves has already confirmed he will not join Newcastle in January, keen to stay in Saudi for now, and that’s despite Newcastle being able to sign players from other clubs owned by their owners.
