Good news:  Liverpool “appreciate” the England young star after scouting a possible transfer target.

After scouting the 17-year-old midfielder for Leeds United recently, Liverpool are fans of the wonderkid, Archie Gray of the Daily Briefing, according to Fabrizio Romano’s exclusive piece.

Leeds won’t want to lose this highly-regarded young player, but it appears that interest in the teenager is building. Romano mentioned Liverpool as one of the big names that values him, even though no formal discussions or offers have been made as of yet.

Under Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool has been successful in their recruitment, frequently discovering some talented young players like these before they mature into first-team regulars.

Although Gray seems like he might be a good match for the Reds, it is also expected that other elite teams may be vying for the England youth international’s signature soon.

Though Romano has hinted that it would be worth watching, it is unclear exactly what will happen with this story.

“Leeds United’s Archie Gray is a very talented young player, and Liverpool has sent scouts to watch him several times,” Romano stated.

Liverpool is undoubtedly one of the clubs that value Archie and continue to follow him, but they are not the only ones. At this point, there isn’t a bid or formal negotiations, but they value the player.
