Callum Hudson-Odoi, a player for England, speaks exclusively to Sky Sports about his new life at Bayer Leverkusen on loan in Germany, the difficulty of overcoming his injury issues, and his prospects at Chelsea going forward.

Callum Hudson-Odoi knows that his time in the Bundesliga will be evaluated on how well he plays football, which is why he moved on loan to Bayer Leverkusen. However, there are more hours in a day than there are on the field.

This is the tale of a man who is embarking on his first overseas experience and first departure from his family. According to Hudson-Odoi, who left London for the first time, he “experienced another country, another culture, and another environment.”

“When you first arrive here, it’s much more obvious that you are unfamiliar with the region and the city. I spend every day in London, therefore I am familiar with the city.
