According to sources speaking to Football Insider, 24 year old star has reached a four-year agreement with Burnley after his club accepted their £7 million offer.
The 24-year-old center back is scheduled to get a physical on June 23 in preparation for a transfer to Turf Moor.
The Republic of Ireland international and the newly promoted Premier League team have already reached an agreement about personal matters.
In the coming hours, a deal for the defender should be finalized as Vincent Kompany attempts to strengthen his defense.
Before their opening Premier League match against league champions Man City on August 11, O’Shea is expected to become Kompany’s second permanent hire.
Jordan Beyer, a defender who was on loan at Turf Moor during the Clarets’ title-winning campaign, has already signed a permanent contract with Borussia Monchengladbach.

Moves for O’Shea and Coulibaly come after standout centre-back Taylor Harwood-Bellis returned to parent club Man City after a stellar season-long loan at Burnley in the 2022-23 campaign.
19-cap Republic of Ireland international O’Shea made 41 appearances across all competitions for West Brom in the 2022-23 campaign, notching two goals and one assist.
He came through the youth ranks at The Hawthorns after moving over from Ireland as a teenager, and has gone on to play 107 times for the club.
O’Shea already has top-flight experience after making 28 Premier League appearances for West Brom as they were relegated in the 2020-21 season.
It has been widely reported that the Baggies need to sell their top assets in the summer window in order to stay afloat after missing out on play-off qualification in the 2022-23 campaign.
