Lucas Bergvall says Tottenham actually have a player who’s better than Kylian Mbappe
New Tottenham signing Lucas Bergvall has been doing his best to endear himself to the Spurs fans when asked who he’s picking over in certain head to heads.
The young Swedish star was a late window signing for Tottenham and he is set to join the club in the summer and immediately be part of the first-team squad.
And it seems, from some footage emerging anyway, that he is a big fan of current Spurs skipper, Heung-Min Son.
Bergvall was on TikTok doing a quick round of which player he’d pick out of a duo presented to him.
And with Heung-Min Son one of the first players up, it seems Bergvall is a big fan as he selected him over a number of star names.
Bergvall picked Son over Liverpool star Mo Salah, before keeping him for the next two rounds of French superstar Kylian Mbappe, and then even going with him over Erling Haaland.
It wasn’t a clean sweep for Son, though, as Bergvall opted to go with his nation’s legendary striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic to finally move the Spurs star off his perch.

Heung-Min Son will be massive for Bergvall
Now the captain of Tottenham, you get the feeling that Heung-Min Son is going to have a huge impact on helping Lucas Bergvall settle into the club.
‘Sonny’ has been superb all season long for Spurs and seems to be the model pro both on and off the field.
Clearly, Bergvall rates the Spurs forward highly and to see him pick him over someone like Mbappe is a massive nod to the Tottenham skipper.
Of course, by the time he comes to Tottenham full-time this clip will no doubt have done the rounds among the players. It’s bound to be brought up and it will be no surprise to see the likes of James Maddison ribbing Bergvall for pandering to his new skipper.
