Liverpool agree personal terms with Celta Vigo star

Celta Vigo star Gabri Veiga might surely be on his way to Liverpool as the representatives from either party agree on personal terms.

Chelsea are edging ahead in the race to sign Liverpool target Gabri Veiga.

According to Corriere del Mezzogiorno, via Paisley Gates (h/t ECHO), Veiga will earn £83,000 per week at Liverpool. With competition from Premier League rivals Chelsea and Serie A side Napoli, Liverpool will surely need to act swiftly to secure the signing of the 21-year-old Spaniard.

The report also suggests that Napoli, under the guidance of new manager Rudi Garcia, are preparing a final attempt to lure Gabri Veiga to Italy. Garcia, keen on strengthening his midfield options, sees the youngster as a vital addition to his squad.

Liverpool will have to fend off the Italian giants and prove that their project and ambitions are superior to Napoli’s as they strive to secure Veiga’s services.
