The Union Berlin forward wants to move to the Premier League.
Burnley is reportedly close signing Union Berlin forward Sheraldo Becker, although they will have to compete with Fulham
and West Ham United for his services.

Prior to their return to the Premier League the following season, Burnley is eager to bolster their attacking capabilities. They
have made two offers for Millwall’s Zian Flemming, and after both were rejected, they are now exploring a third.
In his pursuit for a new striker, Vincent Kompany is also eyeing Kyogo Furuhashi of Celtic. If a deal for their previous loanee
cannot be reached, the Japan international might be seen as a replacement for Nathan Tella.
Che Adams of Southampton has been mentioned as an additional possibility for the Clarets, and Becker has been suggested
as a target. A transfer to the Union Berlin may now be in the works.
The striker wants to play in the Premier League, and a number of teams are reportedly interested in signing him, including
Burnley, West Ham, and Fulham, all of whom are “close to him,” according to a report from Sport Bild (via Sport Witness).
There may be some pressure for the attacker to go this summer because it will be Union Berlin’s final opportunity to get a
transfer fee. The forward’s contract with the club expires next summer, and Union Berlin is seeking to receive €20 million
(£17 million) for him.
The 28-year-old has recently switched agents, now being represented by Sports360, which indicates he may be at the exit door.
Who is Sheraldo Becker?
After coming through the youth ranks at Ajax, the Amsterdam-born forward has gone on to play for the likes of PEC Zwolle
and ADO Den Haag, however, he has been at his most prolific in a Union Berlin shirt over the past few years.
Last season, the Suriname international was particularly impressive, recording 11 goals and seven assists in 34 Bundesliga
appearances, which placed him at the very top of the goal-scoring charts for Union Berlin in all competitions.
Over the past year, the former Ajax man ranks in the 84th percentile for assists per 90, highlighting his ability to bring his
teammates into the play, while his dribbling ability is showcased by the fact he ranks in the 97th percentile for progressive
carries.
Hailed as “brilliant” and “mega-quick” by members of the media, Becker could be exactly the type of singing Burnley need to
strengthen their frontline ahead of their return to the top flight.

Burnley are in the market for a No.10 this summer and Flemming fits the profile for the type of signing they are chasing.
Flemming made an immediate impact at the Den last season and established himself as one of the best attacking midfielders in the EFL.
The 24-year-old scored 15 goals last season as Millwall finished just outside the Championship play-off places by one point.
In turn, he was voted by Millwall fans as the club’s player of the season for 2022-23. However, if Burnley persist, it might end up having being Flemming’s only season with Millwall.
Millwall have expected interest in Zian Flemming
Millwall manager Gary Rowett admitted to London News Online back in May: “I would expect quite a few of our players to
attract interest.
“You don’t win that number of games in the Championship, and perform so well in a lot of the games, not to have a squad
that a lot of other teams would want to look at. Zian is an obvious one because it is his first season.
“Just as much as you can’t dampen down expectation and dampen down the excitement at the end of the season, you also
can’t dampen down the speculation of players performing well. That is part of us doing the right things and us, as a club,
having the right type of young players who are developing.
“So it wouldn’t surprise me, but it’s not something our club particularly sees as an issue because John (Berylson, owner) has
proved in the past we are not a selling club or one that desperately looks to sell our best players every season.
“Therefore I think it will be up to us what we do with any players, depending on any interest.”
Reports from the South London Press have suggested that Millwall might be seeking a fee bigger than any other they have
ever received if it comes to selling Flemming. In other words, the asking price seems to be above £8m.
