Despite the club’s relegation to the Championship, the Nigerian international was awarded Leicester City’s Player of the
Season.
According to report Everton and Burnley are the newest teams vying for the services of Kelechi Iheanacho, the
prolific striker for Leicester City.
Following his team’s relegation in the most recent season, the Nigerian international has drawn attention from the Premier
League, and the Foxes may be tempted to sell him in the upcoming months.
Iheanacho has been connected to Nottingham Forest in rumors, but new reports from Tribal Football indicate that Burnley
and Everton have also expressed interest in signing the former FA Cup champion.
The 26-year-old showed off his goal-scoring abilities last season by scoring five goals for Leicester City in the Premier
League.
However, it is his outstanding FA Cup performance in England that has really raised his profile.
Iheanacho ranks seventh overall with a stunning tally of 18 goals in just 26 matches, becoming him the tournament’s all-
time best scorer for Nigeria.
Iheanacho is the center of attention as Everton and Burnley battle it out for his services for their respective teams as the
hunt for his signature heats up.
Iheanacho and international teammate Alex Iwobi would share a dressing room if Iheanacho were to sign with Everton.
Iwobi joined the Toffees in the summer of 2019 after leaving Arsenal for a fee of over 30 million euros.

Rangers close on Brighton striker as Celtic set out Kyogo demands amid Spurs and Burnley interest
As he gears up for his first full season in command at Ibrox, Michael Beale is allegedly close to adding another player to his
Rangers roster.
By securing the signings of goalkeeper Jack Butland, fullback Dujon Sterling, attacking midfielder Kieran Dowell, and
attacker Sam Lammers during the past month, the former Queens Park Rangers manager has already had a fruitful summer
transfer window.
Beale is rumored to be looking for another striker in the next days, and according to the Scottish Sun, Rangers is prepared to
drop its pursuit of Cremonese’s Cyriel Dessers after growing impatient with the Serie B club’s demands.
But according to the same article, Beale is ‘certain’ of signing Brighton and Hove Albion striker Abdullah Simah, who spent
last season on loan at French club Angers.
The 22-year-old will soon sign a loan agreement and become Beale’s fifth new hire of a frenetic summer.
Celtic have reportedly set out their demands for striker Kyogo Furuhashi – despite Brendan Rodgers comparing the Hoops
star to former Liverpool and Barcelona striker Luis Suarez.
The Mirror have reported Rodgers could be willing to part with the Japan international if he receives an offer in excess of
£16million.
Kyogo was a key part of Celtic’s success under Postecoglou after scoring 54 goals over the last two years and was influential
as the Hoops landed a historic treble last season.
His form has led to speculation over a move to a number of clubs across Europe and his former manager’s move to Spurs has
fuelled talk the 28-year-old could tread a similar path during the summer transfer window.
England Premier League newcomers Burnley are also reportedly admirers of Kyogo’s but a potential reunion with
Postecoglou would surely swing any battle in the favour of the former Celtic manager’s new employers.
