According to information cited by Football Insider, Burnley is contemplating a fresh offer for Millwall star Zian Flemming.
On Tuesday (27 June), Football Insider reported that the Championship club had previously rejected two offers from the
Clarets for the 24-year-old.
Burnley’s primary summer target is Flemming following his impressive first Championship season with Millwall last year.
Although a trusted source told Football Insider that Vincent Kompany won’t need to pay a “massive” sum to sign his target,
the London club is still holding out for a sizable profit.
In the summer of 2022, Flemming moved from the Dutch team Fortuna Sittard to Millwall.
He had an immediate impact while wearing a Lions jersey, scoring 15 goals and dishing out three assists as Gary Rowett’s
team just missed making the playoffs.
Flemming is greatly admired by Kompany, who believes that he and his Burnley team might succeed in the Premier League.
Despite only being 24 years old, Flemming, who reportedly paid a club record £1.7 million for Millwall, has already scored
64 goals in his professional career.
As they get ready to return to the Premier League, Burnley has already made three permanent hires this summer.
Michael Obafemi, Dara O’Shea, and Jordan Beyer have all committed to the Clarets.
On Tuesday (27 June), Football Insider reported that Southampton had informed the Lancashire team that a bid of £15
million will secure Nathan Tella following his successful loan at the team last season.
Sam Field, a star player for Queens Park Rangers, is a target for Burnley and Leeds United, according to sources who spoke
to Football Insider on June 27.

Club have ‘refused’ Burnley’s first bid for defender – Clarets already ready to ‘increase’ offer
Following the news that Burnley had made an offer to Anderlecht for Noah Sadiki, there has been a quick update from
Belgium.
This comes from Sacha Tavolieri, who makes it clear the Jupiler Pro League club have ‘refused’ the first offer, worth €1m,
from the Clarets.
Those in charge of Burnley are said to ‘want to increase the offer’ with a second bid, this time by adding some bonuses and a
‘percentage of a capital gain’, meaning a chunk of any future profit the newly promoted club would make from a sale down
the line.
Meanwhile, Vincent Kompany’s side are getting everything ready for when Anderlecht do eventually accept the offer, as
there is a four-year contract ‘ready on the table’ for the youngster.
The 18-year-old right-back made his first steps in the first-team last season, making 19 appearances for the Jupiler Pro
League club, during which he picked up an assist in a 3-1 win over RFC Seraing early on in the campaign.
Should this transfer go through, he would join a growing number of players at Turf Moor who have come from the Belgian
leagues to work under Kompany at Burnley.
