CONGRATULATION: Andy Murray Welcome His New Born Baby…

Despite competing all the way to the trophy last year and winning the ATP Challenger tournament in Surbiton, Andy Murray will not be participating this year.

The British player is not going to start his grass season early like he did last year. This year, Murray made his Roland Garros debut, something he hasn’t done in a few seasons. He didn’t actually play until this year; in fact, Stan Wawrinka defeated him back in 2020.

History repeats itself, as we all know, and this year he was defeated by none other than Stan Wawrinka, ending his tale at Roland Garros. Even though he never won the trophy, he has enjoyed some memorable experiences in the French city throughout the years.

Some guys named Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic are to blame for that, but overall, he was quite happy with the legacy he left at Roland Garros. Due to playing at the French Open, Murray didn’t have time to prepare for grass tennis.

After spending weeks on clay, he doesn’t want to rush his comeback. He will give himself some time before stepping on the grass, which means missing the Surbiton Challenger, which begins on Monday.

Regretfully, I will not be returning to defend my championship this year. Although it’s been difficult, my team and I felt that this was the choice we had to make. In any case, I definitely needed a few lighter days because I’ve been having some back issues lately.”

As the season draws nearer to Wimbledon, Murray will have a few emotional weeks. The British player will say goodbye to some of the most famous tennis courts he has played on, such as the Queen’s Club, as he retires this year.

Shortly after, Wimbledon takes place, and it might become a really emotional send-off for the former world number one. There’s little doubt that Murray will play some of his finest tennis this next month.
