Carabao Cup fourth round who will Liverpool next opponent has revealed

Manchester United, the current Carabao Cup champions, will play Newcastle United in the fourth round in a rematch of the final from the previous year.

The club’s noteworthy trophy drought was broken by Erik ten Hag at Wembley last season, and he has his team back in contention as a number of the Premier League’s top teams are also vying for the season’s first prize. With the fourth round matches taking place the week beginning October 30, United will have to deal with the Magpies once more.

Manchester City, who shares a border with United and had previously won the competition four times in a row under Pep Guardiola, will have to wait to do so after losing to Newcastle.
Both Arsenal and Liverpool achieved victories to maintain their competitiveness. Reiss Nelson’s goal in the first half helped the Gunners navigate what was a difficult match as they traveled across London to play Brentford. Against the champions of the Championship, Leicester, the Reds had to come from behind.

In order to win this event for the first time in 30 years, Mikel Arteta’s team will play West Ham, while the Merseysiders will face Bournemouth. The only League Two team left in the Carabao Cup, Mansfield, will take on Port Vale, who are currently dominating the third division.

Mauricio Pochettino has taken solace in the cup despite Chelsea’s disastrous start to the season. His team defeated Brighton, with whom they have dealt frequently over the last year, at Stamford Bridge and will now play Blackburn Rovers in west London.
For the past ten years, one of the traditional big six has won the Carabao Cup, and in the past 20 years, they have only been thwarted three times: by Middlesbrough in 2004, Birmingham City in 2011, and Swansea in 2013. The only two of the big six still in the running are City and Tottenham, who were eliminated in the second round.

Fourth-round draw for the Carabao Cup: Mansfield Town vs. Port Vale

Fulham vs. Ipswich Town

Newcastle United and Manchester United

Cherries vs. Liverpool

Blackburn Rovers and Chelsea

Arsenal versus West Ham

Burnley vs. Everton

Middlesbrough at Exeter City
