Jack Grealish, an attacker for Manchester City, has commented on Liverpool in light of the Premier League results from this past weekend.
After the Anfield team’s thrilling 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace, the Reds passed Arsenal at the top of the rankings, while the Gunners lost 1-0 to Aston Villa.
With Manchester City beating Luton Town coupled with Tottenham’s win against Newcastle United, there’s a potential five-way battle for the Premier League going into 2024.
And speaking to Sky Sports, Grealish has now given his verdict on Liverpool and the rest of the top-flight clubs now all gunning for the Premier League title.
The England international said: “I think a lot of people like to talk about City and go on like it’s a big crisis whereas in reality, we have played against very good teams. We have played Spurs, who have been unbelievable. Liverpool who are top of the league.
“And then we have played Chelsea and Aston Villa away, who have got one of the best home records in the whole of Europe so we have played brilliant teams. We lost one and drew three, so it’s not the end of the world but people like to pretend it is sometimes.”
