The Oklahoma City Thunder Face the Indiana Pacers in Game 4 of……….See more

The 2025 NBA Finals are heating up as the Oklahoma City Thunder prepare to take on the Indiana Pacers in a pivotal Game 4 tonight at 8:30 PM ET. With the Pacers holding a 2-1 series lead following their 116-107 triumph in Game 3, the Thunder face a must-win scenario to avoid falling into a 3-1 deficit. This high-stakes matchup promises intense action, star performances, and strategic adjustments as both teams vie for the Larry O’Brien Trophy.Game 3 was a statement win for the Pacers, who showcased their depth and resilience on the road in Oklahoma City. Tyrese Haliburton, the Pacers’ All-Star point guard, led the charge with 28 points, 7 assists, and 4 rebounds, displaying his ability to control the tempo and exploit mismatches. Myles Turner added a double-double with 22 points and 12 rebounds, anchoring the paint on both ends. The Pacers’ bench also stepped up, outscoring the Thunder’s reserves 34-18, with T.J. McConnell providing a spark with 14 points and 5 assists. Indiana’s balanced attack and stifling defense in the second half proved too much for the Thunder, who struggled to find rhythm after a competitive first half. For the Thunder, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander remains the focal point. The MVP candidate delivered 32 points, 6 assists, and 4 rebounds in Game 3, continuing his historic playoff run. Gilgeous-Alexander recently became the fourth player in NBA history to score 3,000 points in an MVP season, joining elite company. However, he’ll need more support from his teammates to even the series. Chet Holmgren, the Thunder’s versatile big man, showed flashes of brilliance with 18 points and 8 rebounds but struggled with foul trouble. Jalen Williams, another key piece, was quiet with just 12 points on 5-of-14 shooting. Oklahoma City’s offense, which thrives on pace and three-point shooting, was limited to 10-of-28 from beyond the arc, a drop-off from their regular-season efficiency. The Thunder’s Game 4 strategy will likely focus on adjustments to counter Indiana’s physicality and defensive schemes. Coach Mark Daigneault emphasized the need for better ball movement and defensive rotations in post-game comments. “We’ve got to execute sharper and match their energy,” Daigneault said. “This is the Finals—every possession counts.” Expect Oklahoma City to lean on their home crowd at Paycom Center, where they’ve been nearly unbeatable this postseason, to regain momentum. A key matchup to watch is Holmgren versus Turner, as both bigs have the ability to stretch the floor and protect the rim.On the Pacers’ side, coach Rick Carlisle’s game plan has been masterful. Indiana’s ability to switch defensively and force turnovers (they had 12 steals in Game 3) has disrupted the Thunder’s flow. Haliburton’s playmaking and Turner’s rim protection have been complemented by Pascal Siakam’s two-way versatility, as the forward chipped in 20 points and 6 rebounds last game. Carlisle’s decision to go small in stretches, using Siakam at center, has created matchup problems for Oklahoma City. The Pacers will aim to maintain their aggressive approach while avoiding complacency. “We’re up, but it’s far from over,” Haliburton said after Game 3. “They’re a great team, and we expect their best shot.”The historical context adds intrigue to Game 4. Only 4 teams have overcome a 3-1 deficit in the NBA Finals, making tonight’s outcome critical for the Thunder’s championship hopes. Oklahoma City’s young core, led by the 26-year-old Gilgeous-Alexander, is hungry to prove they belong among the league’s elite. Meanwhile, the Pacers, who last reached the Finals in 2000, are riding a wave of confidence and cohesion, fueled by their underdog mentality.Fans can expect a chess match between two well-coached teams with contrasting styles. The Thunder’s up-tempo, perimeter-oriented attack will clash with the Pacers’ disciplined half-court execution and interior dominance. Key X posts from analysts highlight the importance of role players like Luguentz Dort for OKC and Andrew Nembhard for Indiana, who could swing the game with timely contributions. As tip-off approaches, the basketball world is buzzing with anticipation. Will the Thunder tie the series and reclaim home-court advantage, or will the Pacers push them to the brink of elimination? Tune in to ABC at 8:30 PM ET to witness Game 4 of the 2025 NBA Finals, where every moment could shape the legacy of these rising contenders.

Sophie Cunningham didn’t make headlines or cameras. In fact, most of the public only learned of her actions after volunteers at a shelter posted a photo of her carrying boxes of supplies in wet clothes, visibly traumatized by what she saw.
