Latest Liverpool transfer rumors, featuring updates on Kylian Mbappe, Andre, Piotr Zielinski, and Daichi Kamada;
Liverpool ‘think they can complete’ the transfer of Kylian Mbappe after a’verbal agreement’ was reached.
Liverpool return to Premier League action on Sunday afternoon when they take on Luton Town at Kenilworth Road.
The Reds currently sit fourth in the Premier League table, three points behind leaders Tottenham Hotspur.
Jurgen Klopp’s side overcame Nottingham Forest at Anfield last time out.
However, as the Reds prepare to return to action and then continue their Europa League campaign later in the week, talk of transfers remains, despite the fact that the winter window doesn’t open until January 1.
But talk is already underway about what could happen in the upcoming transfer window, and with that in mind, we have rounded up the latest transfer gossip involving the Reds.
A report from France claims that Liverpool believe they can complete a stunning move for Kylian Mbappe.
According to L’Equipe, the Reds are holding out hope they can capitalise on the uncertainty around Mbappe’s future.
The report goes on to claim that the Anfield club have ‘never broken contact with the player’s entourage’ since a failed move for him in 2017.
Mbappe’s PSG future remains in doubt after he refused an extension of the contract earlier this summer.
His current deal with the Ligue 1 side expires at the end of the season.
Liverpool have reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Andre Trindade.
Andre, who will play in the Copa Libertadores final on Saturday, spoke publicly about Liverpool’s interest in him last week, explaining why a transfer did not happen in the summer before admitting he does not know what his future holds.
However, according to journalist Francois Plateau, the Brazil international has already reached a verbal agreement with the Reds, but in the same report, it is claimed that there is no official agreement between Liverpool and Fluminense at this stage.
Liverpool were interested in deals for Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski and Roma’s Daichi Kamada in the past.
That is according to agent Gianluca di Carlo, who told Sport Italia, via Sport Witness: “Given that the Zielinski deal seems easier to do for free, in June, than in January by paying him for the Italian clubs.
“However, we are talking about a player who could have gone to Liverpool two years ago.
He has matured perfectly because of the right path he did: from Poland, to Udinese, with the move to Empoli, then Napoli where he arrived after becoming important in Friuli.
“He is a classy player about whom there is not much to say: that he plays at Napoli, Juventus, Inter or Milan, he is strong.”
Before he added on Kamada: “The player was on a free transfer and many clubs had gone for him: Milan, Liverpool, Benfica, Real Sociedad.
“The Rossoneri changed management and I understand that there were no longer any references for the agreements that had been made.
“Lazio sniffed out the deal and the entourage immediately liked the idea. Not without the interference of many clubs.
After all, we’re talking about a player who would normally be worth 27-28 million euros.”

Jude Bellingham beats out Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe as best-selling shirt with Man United wonderkid ahead of Bukayo Saka in top 10.
Jude Bellingham is the top-selling footballer across Europe as he rapidly becomes one of the best players in the world.
The England superstar has dominated at Real Madrid, most recently scoring a double to win his first El Clasico before winning the Kopa Trophy at the Ballon d’Or ceremony.
Bellingham’s stock on the pitch has risen at breakneck speeds in the last couple of years and so has his personal brand off it, with his name already known worldwide.
His exceptional performances and already iconic celebration have led to fans rushing to get the 20-year-old’s name on the back of their shirts.
In fact, he has sold more personalised shirts than any other player in Europe in the last month, according to Fanatics.
Bellingham has sold more kits across the continent than Manchester City star Erling Haaland, despite the Norweigan continuing his spectacular scoring form this season.
He has also seen his name on the back of more shirts than Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe who boasts a huge fanbase.
The Madrid midfielder sits above two of Europe’s best goalscorers in the charts, proving how much of a superstar he has become in his short time in Spain.
The rest of the best-selling list is dominated by the Premier League.
Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford sold the fourth-most personalised kits while Tottenham skipper Heung-Min Son remains a hugely popular name.
Liverpool’s ‘Egyptian King’ Mohammad Salah is in the top 10 while Kevin De Bruyne continues to sell shirts despite barely featuring this season.
Now you would have expected most of those names to be in the top shirt-selling players, however, there is a big shock further down the list.
Man United’s wonderkid, Alejandro Garnacho, has sold more personalised shirts than Arsenal star Bukayo Saka and Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior.
Garnacho, who only has 29 Premier League appearances in his career, is already becoming a popular name across Europe.
The 19-year-old has the same chant as Cristiano Ronaldo at Old Trafford, with his star factor giving similar vibes to the United icon during his time at the club.
And that seems to have translated on the continent with more fans getting his name on their shirts than Saka and Vinicius Jr.
The Gunners and England winger has the ninth best-selling shirt while Brazilian phenomenon Vini Jr. rounds up the top 10.
