JUST IN: Superstar Message That Result To Fight due to….

After blowing out the Washington Wizards on the road last night, Atlanta continues their road trip, but they will face a much tougher test today in Boston.

The Celtics are arguably the NBA’s top team and even though they are going to be short-handed, they won’t be easy to beat. After a great start to the season, the Celtics have actually lost two of their last three.

The big storyline leading up to this game is going to be the injury report.

Las night, Hawks forward Jalen Johnson let the first half of the game against the Wizards with a left wrist injury and he did not return.

After the game last night, Hawks head coach Quin Snyder said “Hopefully, he’ll be ok and we’ll find out more tonight and tomorrow.”

For Boston, they will not have Kristaps Porzingis tonight, and Jrue Holiday is questionable.

Holiday has been a huge acquisition for this team and if he is out, then I would expect that Payton Pritchard would get the start for the Celtics and I think Al Horford will probably start in place of Porzingis.

Location: TD Garden, Boston, MA

Where to Watch: NBA League Pass, Bally Sports Southeast

Spread and Over/Under: The Hawks are currently underdogs tonight, as they are 7.5-point underdogs according to the latest odds from the SI Sportsbook and the over/under is set at 236.5.

A Very Sad News: Celtics big star drops career due to injury factor

Kristaps Porzingis injury: Celtics big man suffers calf issue vs. Magic

Kristaps Porzingis left the Celtics game against the Magic on Friday afternoon with left calf tightness.

The big man suffered the injury early in the third quarter before he was subbed out of the game for Luke Kornet after a timeout with 6:44 remaining in the period.

Porzingis posted nine points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals in 22 minutes before being ruled out for the game by the Celtics late in the third quarter.

Porzingis had played in 14 of Boston’s 15 games this year before Friday afternoon, putting together one of the most productive seasons of his career to date by shooting 55 percent from the field.

Damian Lillard Sounds Off on Milwaukee Bucks’ Incredible Comeback Win Vs. Blazers

The Milwaukee Bucks found themselves in another deep hole on Sunday night. They let the Portland Trail Blazers jump out and dominate them early on, which resulted in Milwaukee being down by as much as 26 points against a determined Blazers side.

The Bucks did not let up, though, resulting in the biggest comeback victory in the league this season thus far.

The Bucks needed their superstars to carry them to victory on Sunday night, which required a masterful 33-point, 16-rebound double-double from Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Damian Lillard had to step it up as well as he faced off against his former team for the first time since his summer departure.

Dame finished with 31 points on 7-of-21 shooting, to go along with four triples, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals in 37 minutes of play.

After the game, Lillard sounded off on his team’s ability to bounce back from adversity against Portland:

“I think we showed a lot of togetherness, we showed a lot of resilience,” Lillard said. “In this league, you never know what type of night a team is gonna have, especially a talented team.

When you let them get off to a good start and get confident, they could be trouble.

We’ve been in that situation a few times this season where our character was tested, our togetherness was tested. We showed true again.”

He has dealt with a number of injury issues throughout his career but the 7-foot-3 center showed no major physical issues in hi first weeks with Boton despite dealing with a bout of plantar fasciitis over the summer that forced him to miss the FIBA World Cup.

With Porzingis sidelined, the Celtics turned to Luke Kornet for more minutes in the middle against Orlando along with a bigger role for Oshae Brissett.

The team was already down one starter for the matchup with Jrue Holiday ruled out due to a sprained ankle.

Derrick White also suffered an arm contusion against the Magic in the first quarter but played through the injury.

As Lillard said, this is not the first time the Bucks have let their opponents secure a big lead against them. They can count themselves lucky for being able to come from behind and secure a win.

Had they not, it would have been a disaster, and we would have had a much different post-game narrative.
