Breaking News: Sky Sports provide new evidence on Luis Diaz disallowed goal as Liverpool Legend…

As Jamie Carragher yells, Sky Sports give further evidence regarding the goal that Luis Diaz was denied.

Luis Diaz’s goal was erroneously disallowed for offside during Liverpool’s loss to Tottenham, and now Sky Sports has offered further proof of the incident.

According to Sky Sports, the on-field officials during Liverpool’s contentious 2-1 loss to Tottenham only realized their error in not allowing Luis Diaz’s goal at halftime, although the careless VAR operators were aware almost immediately.

a misunderstanding between Darren the VAR and referee Simon Hooper Despite the Reds winger’s being onside before slamming the ball past Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario, England’s goal was disallowed on Saturday.

This is due to England believing that a goal had been awarded on-field while in the VAR hub at Stockley Park.

After drawing a 2D line to make sure Diaz was onside, he ordered Hooper “check complete” and play continued, although the score remained 0-0.

The on-field officials weren’t made aware of their blunder until the half because England and colleague Dan Cook believed it was against the VAR rules to stop the game again once it had began.

The PGMOL has already been approached by Liverpool to request access to the tape of Hooper and England’s conversation, but Jamie Carragher, a former Reds player, is still incensed about the “horrendous mistake.” “I don’t think the feeling about VAR has been lower, it’s at crisis point,” Carragher said on Monday Night Football.

“It’s not only this decision; other occurrences this season, like the Wolves-Manchester United affair, have led up to it. I don’t want to criticize the officials or [PGMOL chairman] Howard Webb since I know how miserable they must feel.

I don’t believe in conspiracy theories since they serve no one’s interests. Everybody has erred.

You can’t quite believe the rationale given, but this is a terrible mistake that has never been made.

Despite the PGMOL admitting that there was a “significance human error” within an hour of full-time, Liverpool released a statement on Sunday evening expressing their outrage at the occurrence.

“We fully accept the pressures that match officials work under but these pressures are supposed to be alleviated, not exacerbated, by the existence and implementation of VAR,” they stated.

“It is therefore unsatisfactory that sufficient time was not afforded to allow the correct decision to be made and that there was no subsequent intervention.

That such failings have already been categorised as “significant human error” is also unacceptable.

Any and all outcomes should be established only by the review and with full transparency.
